Story :
Pothuraju alias PR(Prakash raj) kills a close friend &his family and rob their money.He leaves his family&village and after 20years he is a Don operating from Hong kong
involved in many illegal activities.His friend Seshu(Ashish Vidyarthi) looks after his activities in India.Kranti aka kaNTRi(NTR) is an orphan living in an orphanage run by Daiva
Sahayam(Kota Srinivasarao).He joins in PR gang and impress him within no time.When Kranti is in need of money to help a friend in critical condition,Seshu reject to
support him.Enraged Kranti forms his own gang and accept an offer to kill PR & his gang.When PR and Kranti come face to face and are ready to kill each other,Daiva
Sahayam reveals a secret about Kranti to PR.What's it & how it changes their plans for each other forms rest of the story.
Highlights:
NTR rocks in Kantri ! He is absolutely brilliant in every aspect.His unparalleled dancing abilities,killer looks,terrific performance in action sequences and excellent
dialogue delivery together made the film a treat to watch.
Debutant( for Telugu screen)director Meher Ramesh did a wonderful job as a writer& director.Unlike many other so-called Stylish directors,he stuffed the movie with Style &
substance resulting in some very enjoyable action episodes & confrontation scenes with heavy applause from audience.
Hansika is Ok,the love track between the lead pair isn't much impressive.Sexy Tanisha didn't impress much.
Music by Mani Sarma is Ok. Choreography for the songs Vayassunami,I go Crazy standsout.
Action(Stun Siva), Cinematography(Sameer Reddy) are impressive.
Comedy is less when compared to action but it is impressive.
First half is Very good.
Sidelights:
second half is just Ok.Though it has a pretty good dance number( I go Crazy) and a surprising twist towards the climax, the second half treads the beaten track with more
action scenes leaving less space to others.
The film is lengthy ( 2:45 mins)
& Just like any other mass film this film too has some serious logic errors but won't do much damage at the Box Office.

NTR is in attacking mode.kaNTRi has some dialogues which can send jitters in the industry circles & Politic sections.

NTR’s Kantri is all set hit to hit the screens on 9th May worldwide in 1000 theaters.
Now the latest we heard from film Nagar is that the film is loaded with Political dialogues in support of Telugu Desam Party.
It is also heard there are some dialogues and scenes in TDP election symbol Cycle. And some dialogues on ruling party. Cycle ki andadhandalu savaallu prathisawallu.
The dialogues appear to be helping NTRjr’s political entry.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks starrer 'Catch Me If You Can' could be the inspiration for the NTR's film currently in the making.
While NTR is busy shooting for the film being made under the Vyjayanti Movie banner, the news in the tinsel ville is that it is Steven Spielberg's film that is said to have given the basic idea to director Meher Ramesh.
Now, the original had Leonardo playing the lead as a con man who is tamed by Tom Hanks and how a special bond develops between them.
If NTR plays the role of Leonardo, we think it is Prakash Raj who gets to play the part of Tom Hanks.

ENTRY TO THE TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY:
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born May 20, 1983) more popularly known as Jr. NTR is an Indian film actor. He is the grandson of the Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
He was born and brought up in Hyderabad; his parents are Harikrishna Nandamuri and Shalini. He went to Vidyaranya School in Hyderabad, and later to St Rakesh's Junior College. He has a sister and two brothers, Kalyan Ram and Janaki Ram. His uncle Balakrishna Nandamuri is also a famous Telugu actor.
He started as Lord Rama as a child artist in Bala Ramayanam, a role patented by Sr.NTR, & 2 hits like Aadhi and Simhadri. Began his career as a child actor and dancer. He made his debut with film, Ninnu Choodalani, in 2001, but it failed to perform well at the box office. He went on to gain fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, followed by Subbu and Aadi. In January 2003, Rao's film Naaga performed poorly. After that many flops followed Jr. NTR like Andhrawala, Narsimhudu, etc.. , but that changed with the success of Rakhi. The recently released film of NTR Yamadonga turned out to be a blockbuster.

As for filmnagar sources, the producers, director and heroes are fed up with the way Prakash Raj skipping all his dates and coming late to the sets etc.
As for the filmnagar sources, the films Parugu and NTR’s Kantri are being delayed just because Prakash Raj’s negligence to attend the shoot. It is also heard that NTRjr is very much angry with Prakash Raj.
Parugu could complete the shoot of Prakash Raj and getting ready to release, but NTR Kantri has to shoot some more important shoot with Prakash Raj and the film is getting delayed due to Prakash Raj’s Late Lateef behavior.
As for a source, he was put out of Mahesh Babu’a Athidhi and Poori Jagannath’s Bujjigadu fir his Late Lateef behavior.
He was also banned for some time in the tollywood some time back. But still Prakash Raj is troubling the producers.
